B.Tech. Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

The Department aims at providing strong foundation to the students in the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and exposure in the trending technologies and also to encourage graduates to pursue advanced education, research and development.

Artificial Intelligence and Data Science represent a recently established field of study that encompasses scientific approaches, procedures, and methods derived from various disciplines such as statistics, cognitive science, as well as computing and information science. This field aims to extract valuable insights from both structured and unstructured data, which can then be utilized in making informed decisions within business settings. AI&DS focuses on tasks ranging from data collection, categorization, and analysis to the strategic interpretation of data. It is a specialized field that focuses on creating data-centric solutions, along with tools and techniques for visualizing data to analyze extensive datasets. Additionally, it integrates the principles of machine learning and deep learning model construction to address a variety of computational and real-world challenges.
